My Creation Myth
The Creation of the Universe

In the Beginning, only the forteen gods and goddesses lived. There were no rivers or lands even seas. No animals or trees. No fruits and no plants. Just fourteen gods and goddess.
One day Ventro, Russcoss’ grandson, went up to the great lord Russcoss and asked him if he could create the earth. Russcoss told him that he had to consult his wife. So, Russcoss consulted Keymie, his wife. She thought it sounded great.
The next day, all of the gods and goddesses had an assembly. Tonyan, the water goddess, offered to create the oceans and the seas. Fonne, the Land God, volunteered his powers to create the plains, forests, tundras, and hills. Kentoo, the living creature goddess, offered to create animals and humans to worship Russcoss. Samson, the General, offered to control these people.
“I thank all of you,” said Russcoss, “you all are very nice to help out. I am very greatful to all of you.” And indeed he was. Ventro was too!
So, they created the “earth.” The next day, the gods and goddesses blended their powers and created the “earth.” They also, with Kentoo’s help, created animals and humans.
When they had done all of this, they noticed a flaw. All the land was stuck together and people were fighting over their tribes land. The tribes were none as: America, Asia, Europe, Australia, Antartica, and Africa. When Russcoss noticed this, he immediatly took action. Russcoss gathered up all of his lightning power and left for the clouds.
When he got to the clouds, he took out his lightning power and threw it at the land. When the lightning hit the land, it split intofour lands which are todays seven continents. To this day, Russcoss is watching over us and making sure we don’t fight. The islands were formed by rocks that he threw at us and they missed.
