TOPIC: Tell a true story about a person or an animal that you will remember for a long time.
Brittney is my best friend I was six when first met, she was eight. Whenever I was feeling down she was would come cheer me up. We use to Play Mother May I and different games. We also went to the same church.
Me and Brittney were inseparable, I was either going to her house or she was coming to mine. We were the best of friends,we were even making kites together tell that one day my mom said the two words two best friends never want to here were moving to a different state.
I was shocked I didn't want to leave California let alone my best friends. the time I was leaving was near Halloween. The day finally came Brittney and I came walking down the street crying. I got in the car and drove off that's the last time I saw Brittney ever again.

TOPIC: 6. Each year the animal shelter finds homes for thousands of animals that have no one to care for them. Write a paper to convince people to adopt a homeless pet.
MODE: Persuasive
Hi my name is Amy, and I'm going to try to convince you to adopt a pet from the Animal Shelter. Animals at the Animal Shelter don’t have a home to live in. They don’t have a family to love, or to be loved by. They don’t have someone to feed them, or even give them shelter from the rain.
These dogs, cats, horses and other animals need someone to play with them, and give food to eat. Animals don’t deserve to live at the Animal Shelter all their lives, they deserve to run free and have a loving family to love.
Animals Shelter go on the streets and take the animals in. They feed them and take care of them, until people come to adopt them. But they have to keep them in small cages, and thats not fair to the animals.
I think animals are great friends because when you are sad they will cheer you up. They can also be your best friends. So go to the Animal Shelter and take home a best friend. You will not regret it. Thank you.

Hello my name is George Washington. I was born February 22, 1732, in Westmoreland County Virginia on a Tidewater Plantation. I was educated at home because there were very little schools near plantations in my day.
When I was 20 I had no training as a solder but Lawrences stories interested me on military affairs. I applied to the governor for a commission in the militia.
In December 1752, was hired as a major and put in charge of training the militia in southern Virginia.
On January 6, 1759, I married Martha Dandridge Custis she was a widow with two children, and eight months older then me. The marriage took place in New Kent County Virginia.
In 1755 I commanded the colonists in the Revolutionary War. During the war I commanded more then 15,000 troops at any one time.
My troops were raw militia, badly disciplined. There were 2 kinds of solders,1 solders of the continental army organized by congress, 2 militia organized by the states.
On October 19, 1781 I won the war with my I did it. When my remaining solders left I cried. My soldiers I had had victory over Briton with were leaving forever.
In 1789 I was elected president of the independent UNITED STATES OF AMERICA I was called father of the country.
George Washington died Dec. 14, 1799, he served 10 wonderful years as FATHER OF THE COUNTRY
