Act 1 : The Heroine is born

Narrator: One day early in the morning Aphrodite (The goddess of beauty and LOVE) was talking to Selene (goddess of the moon). Aphrodite said, "You know what this town needs?.....a heroine!" And that is how it started.
Aphrodite: Ares! Ares! Oh great god of war. Hear my cry! I wish you to fall in love and have a child. Boy or girl, you will teach this child to be a hero / heroine.
Ares: Whoa! Whoa! Great goddess of beauty and love, why do you wish me to do so?
Aphrodite: If you have a child that town below will no longer be boring nor dull.
Narrator: Now! While that is going on, deep down in the underworld Persophone is listening and thinking.
Persephone: Yes, Ares, do fall in love, do have a child. One more person for Hades to kill. HAH!! HAH!!
Narrator: Meanwhile, back to Aphrodite and Ares.
Ares: All right, all right, you win. I will fall in love and give forth a child. On 1 condition, though.
Aphrodite: What? What? Anything!
Ares: You have to find me the perfect woman. She has to be wild and fun, but sensitive and sweet.
Aphrodite: No problem. Remember, I am the goddess of beauty and love. I shall have found the perfect woman in 7 days.
Narrator: During that 7 days, Persephone was cooking up more and more nasty ideas on how to mess everything up. (Like always)
Narrator: One day when Aphrodite was zooming by the fields, she saw a peasant girl picking wild flowers. At that very moment Aphrodite knew that she was the one.
Aphrodite: Hello, miss! Let me introduce myself. I am Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love. What is your name?
Celeste: My name is Celeste. Am I in trouble with the gods? If not, why are you here?
Aphrodite: No miss, you are not in trouble. I am here to ask a favor of you. If it is all right with you.
Celeste: Of course it’s all right, ask away.
Aphrodite: I am here to ask you if you would like to be the wife of Ares(god of war) and give birth to a hero or heroine?
Celeste: I would be honored to be the wife of Ares, but I would have to get to know him better, because I am not that easy.
Aphrodite : All right, I will give you 1 week to pack and say goodbye to your family and friends. I will be back to get you before the sun sets on the 7th night.
Narrator: While Celeste is packing and saying goodbye to her family and friends, Aphrodite is going to talk to Ares.
Aphrodite: Ares, I have found the perfect girl. Her name is Celeste and she will be here in 1 week.
Narrator : Just like Aphrodite said, she would be back in 1 week to get Celeste.
Aphrodite: Celeste! Celeste! Where are you? It’s time to leave!
Celeste: Here I am. I am sorry that I’m late. I was tying to explain the situation to my father.
Aphrodite: Let's go, Ares does not like to wait.
Narrator: While Aphrodite and Celeste are on their way, Ares was nervous.
Ares: What if she doesn't like me? What if she thinks I am ugly?
Narrator: Just then Aphrodite walked in.
Aphrodite: What if! What if! Calm down, Ares! She will love you and you will love her.
Aphrodite: Celeste, come in. Celeste, meet Ares. Ares, meet Celeste.
Narrator: Before they married they spent a year together. Every day they would go out and just talk. Then one day..............
Ares: Celeste..... I love you!
Celeste: I love you, too.
Ares: (gets down on one knee) Celeste, I have known you for a year now and love you very much. Will you marry me?
Celeste: .... Of course I will. (Celeste hugs Ares)
Narrator: So Celeste and Ares run to find Aphrodite and spread the news.
Celeste & Ares: Aphrodite!! Aphrodite!! We are getting married!!
Aphrodite: It is about time, you two. Now, when are you going to have a baby?
Narrator: 3 years went by before they had a child.
Celeste: Aphrodite! I am finally going to have a baby!
Aphrodite: Finally, I have been waiting 4 years!
Narrator: 9 months passed, and a little girl was born. They named her Arian. Since Aphrodite and Ares were such good friends, Aphrodite gives Arian a gift.
Aphrodite: My gift is the power of beauty and love.
Ares: I will also give a gift. I am going to give her a protector. Her name is Selene and will always be with her!
Celeste: Arian, come inside for dinner, and put that sword down before you poke someone’s eye out.
Ares: You’ve had enough training for the day. Come inside!
Arian: Philitities, when will I be ready to go fight and save the world? I have been training for 8 years.
Philitities: You will be ready when I think you are ready. Now go inside. Your dinner is awaiting.
Narrator: Later, after dinner, Arian went to bed.
Arian: Some day I will be the greatest heroine ever.
Narrator: Days and days of training still went on, but she still wasn’t ready.
Philitities: You are improving, but still you aren’t ready.
Arain: I will be ready soon, though.
Philitities: I think you might be ready soon.
Narrator: More days of training went on. Finally she was ready.
Philitites: You are ready to start your journey.
Arian: Yeah, finally I will start my adventure.
Narrator: Arian rushes home to tell her mom and dad the great news.
Arian: Mother! Father! Guess what? I’m ready to start my adventure.
Ares & Celeste: That's great! Tonight we will have to pack and get ready for your journey.
Narrator: They packed and started on their way. They go to fight Persephone’s army.
Narrator: While Arian was fighting Perosephone’s army, Perosephone was thinking of how to make Arian surrender so she wouldn’t become a goddess.
Perosephone: I know how to make her surrender. I will go and take her father to be my slave until she surrenders.
Narrator: So that is just what she did. She went to the cottage and disguised herself as Arian.
Perosephone: Father! Father! I am home, but I need you to come with me so I can show you something!
Ares: Okay, but where are you taking me?
Arian: I can’t tell you, it’s a secret!
Narrator: While Perosephone was tricking Ares to go to her palace, Arian had almost defeated all of Persophone’s army.
Arian: I wonder how my father is doing? I haven’t seen him in a long time.
Narrator : Now that Arian had defeated all of Persophone’s army, she was on her way to see how her father was doing.
Arian : (knocking) Father! Father! are you home?
Narrator: So Arian just walked in, since it was kind of her house.
Arian: (Walking in) Hello, is anyone home? Mother? Father?
Celeste: Arian! Arian! Persophone disguised herself as you and took your Father to her palace as a slave until you surender! She told me to tell you of your surrender, then she will let your Father go!
Arian : I must go and try to save him!
Narrator: Arian left to go and save her Father. And just before she got into the palace a guard came up behind her and took her to Persophone.
Persophone : Hello, Arian, have you come to take your Father away?
Arian : Yes, I have, so if you would please release my Father then everything will be just fine.
Persophone : (Motioning Ares to come to her.) Here you are, Ares. You are free ....... Almost!!
Ares : What do you mean? Can’t I just go home?
Persophone : You can as long as Arian does exactly as I ask!
Arian : Ok, I agree as long as you let him go!
(Persophone releases Ares)
Persophone : Arian?
Arian: Yes?
Persophone : You must go into the bedroom, down the hall, and that will be your room.
Narrator : So as she was walking down the hall she was thinking if she should try to escape.
Arian : I wonder how you get out of this place?
Persophone : Down that hall, and take the elavator to the bottom. But surely you won’t want to get out of here, now would you?
Arian : No.
Persophone: So why don’t you just go to your room and stay there, and breakfast is at 7.
Arian : Okay.
Narrator : So Arian went to her room, but when she got there.........
Arian: Ahhhhhhhhh!
Narrator : Arian saw a three headed snake.
Persophone : You will have to defeat this and me to become a goddess!!! Ha, Ha.
Narrator : So Arian beat the 3 headed snake, and while she was defeating the snake Ares had died.
Narrator: Arian has defeated all the tasks that she has run into along the way. Her final task was coming. It was to beat Persephone. If she did, she would finally become a goddess.
Persephone: Why does she think she can beat me? What gave her that idea? Nobody has beat me before. She’ll never become a goddess, because I won’t let her.
Warrior: Yes, ma’m. Of course she won’t. You’re always right.
Arian: I’m going to beat her. I’m already furious because my dad, Aries, died.
Selene: Don’t worry, you’ll do fine. You always do. I will protect you.
Arian: Okay, I won’t worry anymore. I trust you.
Selene: That’s good. We’ll wait for Persephone to attack us, and that is a good plan.
Arian: Okay, let's do that, but if she doesn’t attack soon, I’m going to attack her.
Narrator: While they waited for Persephone to attack, Persephone was working up a plan of her own. She didn’t think she would need it.
Celeste: I was at home worrying about all this, Aries. Please watch over her even though she has Selene. Please Aries, please. (praying)
Persephone: I have an idea. I will go attack her tomorrow. She won’t be expecting me.
Warrior: I will help you defeat her if you like.
Persephone: Yes, please, I need you to help me because she might have a secret army, but of course I can beat her on my own.
Warrior: Of course you could. But I’m glad to help. I will always help you if you need it.
Persephone: (walking in) Come on Warrior, it’s time to go. Let’s get our weapons and armor. We got to fight. I have to settle this right now.
Warrior: I will get the swords, but you never use armor so we don’t have any.
Persephone: Oh, that’s right. Let’s go. We’re ready.
Narrator: Persephone and Warrior are walking to Arian’s Place.
Arian: I have a feeling that Persephone is coming. Come on, Selene, let’s get my weapons.
Selene: Okay, here is your sword. I will stay up and watch for Persephone.
Arian: Okay, goodnight.
Selene: (half asleep, hears this)
Persephone: Here’s her house. Let’s go kill her while she is still asleep.
Narrator: Selene goes and wakes up Arian.
Selene: Wake up, Wake up. They’re coming.
Arian: (waking up) Huh, what?
Selene: They’re coming.
Arian: Ah.(jumping out of bed) Where’s my weapon? Help me find it. (panicking)
Selene: You have it in your bed, under your pillow.
Arian: Thanks, I found it.
Narrator: Arian and Selene are going to surprise them by sneaking up behind them.
Persephone: This is going to be so easy. There is no chance that they are going to find us, or see us.
Warrior: Yep, I’m sure of it.
Narrator: Meanwhile Selene and Arian were right behind them when.....
Persephone: There they are. Turn around.
Warrior: Let’s fight.
They all shout: Yah!
Narrator: A gruesome fight they had. It only lasted for three nights and three days. They battled all day and all night. Until the third day, when it was all over. They had no trouble, and this is what happened.
Persephone and Warrior: Do you really think you can beat us?
Arian: Yes, of course.
(Swords hit each other.)
Selene: (whispers) Kill the warrior first before you kill Persephone. She will be easier to kill. She won’t be as powerful. (floaty like)
Narrator: Arian takes a big stab into Warrior’s heart and he dies. Now it is Persephone versus Arian. The final battle.
Persephone: Well, this is good-bye, Arian.
Narrator: Persephone takes a big stab into Arian, but misses, and Arian knocks her sword out of her hand.
Arian: I guess I finally will be a goddess, finally!
Persephone: NOOO!! (death)
Narrator: Arian has become a goddess. She defeated Persephone.
Selene: Good Job.
Aries: (heaven voice) You have completed your last task. You may come join us in heaven. You are a goddess, now.
Arian: I have waited so long for this and I finally got it, but I have one favor to ask. My mom has to come, too.
Aries: Why yes, she may. As a matter of fact, she is already up there.
Arian: Great.
Narrator: Now that she is up in heaven, she has rejoined her family, and this story will be told for centuries to come.
