The prince of Egypt is about a prince that is not a real prince. Then he finds his long lost family that he once called slaves.
When he finds the truth he runs away. After a long time he returns to the palace to free his people. But now his brother is king of the day and night. He frees the people and takes them to his home.
Egypt has a lot of ancient things. They have more than ten gods, like the hawk god. Ancient people use slaves to build their temples. They built statues of the gods.
When the prince came back to save his people, his brother wouldn’t let his people go. For days the prince still tried to free his people, and he showed his brother his god’s power. There was horror around the city for a long time. When his god kills his brother’s son, his brother lets them go.
When they got to the ocean, his brother attacked them. Then his god sent a fire tornado. Then he ran into the water and made all the water go up and stayed there. When they were half way through, the fire tornado stopped and they came after them. The people ran to the end, but some people were still in the ocean, and the water came rushing down and they jumped on land. They lived happily ever after.
