[Note from Carol: "I was committed to performing Gershwin's music in the spirit intended by Gershwin. He played his music at a very fast tempo. We are used to hearing many of his songs performed quite slowly, so my renditions may seem rushed. My purpose has been to be as authentic as possible. I made the original recordings to honor my father and to commemorate George Gershwin's 101st birthday.
